Select Trims Around the Jacket Construction
Jaktuno supports trim selection for varsity jacket orders from apparel brands, private-label buyers, wholesalers and school or teamwear suppliers. Options include rib collars, cuffs and hems, snap buttons, zippers and pocket finishing details.
We review trims alongside body fabric, sleeve material, lining and fit. A component that looks suitable in a photograph may have a different weight, attachment requirement or finish from the reference garment. These details are confirmed before sampling and bulk purchasing.
Coordinate Rib Collars, Cuffs and Hems
Rib trims influence the jacket’s proportions, opening dimensions and color balance. Buyers should identify the required stripe arrangement, colors, finished width and preferred feel, using physical references where possible.
Collar, cuff and hem requirements are reviewed separately because their dimensions and connection points differ. The rib must work with the approved pattern and garment measurements rather than be selected by appearance alone.
Our color and size customization process coordinates rib details with body-and-sleeve colors and the intended fit. Special combinations may require additional sourcing and affect order minimums.
Confirm Snap Buttons and Zippers
Snap selection includes size, visible finish, color and compatibility with the material layers at the installation point. We review the closure position, spacing and reinforcement needs through the sample construction.
For zipper styles, the specification should identify the required length, opening arrangement, tape color and puller appearance. A reference sample helps communicate the intended operation and finish.
Closures are checked after installation for alignment, opening and closing, and visible attachment condition. Our snap button and trim installation work follows the approved garment reference. Branded or specially developed components require a separate sourcing review.
Review Pocket and Finishing Details
Pocket openings, welts, piping and contrast edges need to suit the panel construction and selected materials. Their dimensions and placement should be shown in the technical information or reference sample.
A change to pocket trim can affect cutting and sewing requirements, particularly when materials have different thicknesses. We review these connections before confirming the sample. Decorative details close to pockets or closures also need sufficient space for installation and a clean finished appearance.
Approve Components in Garment Form
Loose trim samples help confirm color and surface finish, but installed components show how the complete jacket looks and functions. During sample development, buyers review rib proportions, closure operation, pocket finishing and attachment.
Approved components are recorded with the jacket specification. Bulk checks compare their type, color, position and installation with the agreed reference. Folding and packing should also avoid unnecessary pressure on visible hardware or distortion of rib openings.
Prepare Trim Details for Quotation
Send the jacket reference, trim photographs or samples, required colors and quantity by style/color. Include any branding requirements and your delivery target.
Custom rib colors, special hardware and replacement components can affect cost, sourcing minimums and timing. Sample development normally takes around 7–15 days, depending on availability and construction. Changes after components have been purchased or installed require review before they are introduced into production.
