Establish a Clear Reference Before Bulk Production
Jaktuno develops varsity jacket samples for apparel brands, private-label buyers, wholesalers and school or teamwear suppliers. Sampling brings the proposed materials, measurements, construction and branding together in a garment that buyers can review.
Projects can begin with a tech pack, size chart, artwork, reference images or a physical jacket. Before sample cutting, we identify missing information and confirm which details need development. This helps prevent assumptions about sleeve materials, lining, pocket construction or decoration from becoming production specifications.
Review the Sample Brief and Materials
The brief should define body and sleeve materials, colors, lining, rib, closures, pockets and intended fit. Quantity by style/color and the required size range also help us assess whether the proposed configuration is practical for bulk sourcing.
Material substitutions must be identified for review. A sample made with an alternative fabric or trim should not be treated as approval of an unconfirmed bulk material. Through design and tech pack development, these details can be recorded alongside the garment requirements.
Check Fit, Construction and Decoration
Buyers should compare the sample with the agreed measurement chart, including chest width, body length, shoulder position and sleeve dimensions. Oversized or cropped styles require a review of proportions as well as individual measurements.
Construction review covers pockets, lining, rib connections, closures and visible workmanship. Decoration is checked for artwork execution, dimensions, colors, placement and attachment. Our logo embroidery and patch customization review helps establish the required appearance before bulk application.
Record Revisions and Approve the Working Sample
Feedback should identify the component or measurement requiring change and describe the revised requirement. Where photographs are used, mark the relevant location so the instruction is clear.
Changes are recorded against the current specification. A revised fit, sleeve material or patch position may affect other details and require another review. Before bulk release, the approved sample, measurement chart, artwork and material information must agree. Any outstanding differences need confirmation rather than being left for production to interpret.
Include Labels and Packing in Approval
Private-label samples should establish the required label content, dimensions and installation positions. Hangtags and packaging also need confirmation where they form part of the order.
We review folding and bag fit against garment thickness and decoration. The custom packaging requirements should identify individual packing, size assortments and carton instructions before preparation begins. Details not represented in the garment sample can be confirmed separately through agreed references.
Plan Sample Cost, Timing and Bulk Release
Sample development normally takes around 7–15 days, depending on material availability, construction, decoration and trim preparation. New sourcing and revision rounds can extend development; courier transit is additional when applicable.
Sample cost is assessed from the required work and materials. Send your project references, quantity, size range, branding, packing requirements and delivery target for review. Bulk production normally takes around 25–45 days after sample approval and order confirmation, with final timing subject to the agreed order requirements.
