Define Colors and Fit for Your Jacket Order
Jaktuno supports color and size development for apparel brands, private-label buyers, wholesalers and school or teamwear suppliers sourcing varsity jackets. We work from color references, measurement charts, tech packs or physical garments.
Before sampling, we review the body-and-sleeve combination, lining, rib colors, intended fit and ordered size range. Color and sizing decisions are recorded together with the jacket construction so the approved sample provides a clear reference for bulk production.
Coordinate Body, Sleeves and Rib Colors
A varsity jacket may combine several materials, each with a different texture and surface appearance. The same color reference can look different on wool blends, satin, denim, PU, genuine leather and knitted rib.
Buyers can provide physical swatches or an agreed color reference. Screen images help communicate direction, but physical samples are more useful for final comparison. We review body fabric, sleeve material, rib stripes, lining and decoration colors as a coordinated set.
Our fabric and material options help establish which combinations are suitable. Special colors depend on sourcing availability and material minimums; matching every component to an identical appearance cannot be assumed.
Develop Sizes from Garment Measurements
Size labels alone do not define fit. We need garment measurements and clear measuring positions for chest width, body length, shoulder width, sleeve length and relevant openings.
If development starts from a reference garment, buyers should identify which measurements to retain and which to change. A cropped body, wider chest or longer sleeve can affect the overall proportions and construction.
For oversized styles, shoulder drop, chest ease and sleeve volume are reviewed together. The base sample is checked before pattern making and size grading establish the required size range.
Review Color and Fit Samples Before Approval
Sample development normally takes around 7–15 days, depending on material availability, construction and decoration. New color sourcing or fit revisions can extend the schedule, with courier transit additional when applicable.
During sample development, buyers compare the garment with the measurement chart and material references. Feedback should identify the measurement or component requiring adjustment. The latest approved specifications must agree with the sample before bulk cutting.
Confirm Quantities by Color and Size
Provide quantities by style and color, together with the size breakdown. These details influence material purchasing, grading, production planning and carton assortment. Mixed sizes should be discussed within the proposed order rather than treated as separate unrelated requests.
Standard styles generally start around 100–300 pieces per style. More customized orders are usually around 300–1,000 pieces per style/color, depending on sourcing and construction. Additional colors or an extended size range may change the quotation and sampling requirements.
Keep Bulk Goods Aligned with Approved References
Production checks compare key measurements with the agreed size chart and review material colors against the confirmed references. Labels, individual packing and carton assortments are checked against the ordered size breakdown.
Send your color references, target measurements, size range and quantity by color and size. Include the jacket construction and delivery target so we can assess material availability, sample work and production timing.
