Define the Jacket Around Your Buying Requirements
Jaktuno develops custom varsity jackets for apparel brands, wholesalers, importers, private-label buyers and school or teamwear suppliers. A project can start from an existing jacket construction, a tech pack, reference images or a physical sample.
We first review the intended product, quantity, material preferences and delivery target. This helps establish whether the order needs adjustments to a base style or more extensive pattern, material and decoration development. Open specifications are identified before quotation and sampling.
Choose a Suitable Product Direction
Blank, embroidered and patch varsity jackets offer different starting points. Blank styles suit buyers arranging subsequent decoration, while embroidered and patch constructions require artwork and application details to be confirmed with the garment.
Material-led options include wool and wool-blend, leather or PU, satin and denim constructions. Oversized styles need defined shoulder drop, chest ease, body length and sleeve volume. These directions can overlap: an oversized wool-blend jacket may also use contrast sleeves and chenille patches.
We review body fabric, sleeve material, lining, rib, pockets and closures as a complete construction. The fabric and material options page provides a basis for selecting combinations that suit the required appearance and order conditions.
Coordinate Fit, Colors and Decoration
A workable design needs more than a color reference and logo image. Garment measurements, panel proportions and decoration positions must be considered together.
For branding, we review direct embroidery, chenille patches, embroidered patches and suitable printing against the selected fabric. Artwork size, colors and placement are checked alongside seams, pockets and closures. A large chest patch or back design may require changes to dimensions or construction.
Through design and tech pack development, these decisions can be recorded clearly before the sample is made. School colors, lettering and numbers should be included in the initial brief; variation between individual garments requires separate review.
Use Sampling to Resolve Open Details
The sample checks whether the proposed materials, fit and decoration work together. Buyers should review measurements, sleeve shape, lining, rib proportions, closures and overall appearance, alongside logo and patch execution.
Sample development normally takes around 7–15 days, depending on sourcing, construction and decoration. Revisions and courier transit can add time. Our sample development process establishes the approved garment and supporting specifications as references for bulk production.
Confirm Bulk Order and Packing Conditions
Standard styles generally start around 100–300 pieces per style. More customized OEM and private-label projects are usually around 300–1,000 pieces per style/color. Special materials, colors and decoration affect the final requirement.
Bulk production normally takes around 25–45 days after sample approval and order confirmation. Checks cover materials, sewing, measurements, decoration, trims and finished appearance. Labels, individual packing, size assortments and carton marks are confirmed before shipment preparation. Third-party inspection can be coordinated when required.
Submit Your Jacket Project
Send the style reference, quantity by style/color, size breakdown, preferred materials and artwork. Include label and packing requirements, destination, preferred trade term and target delivery date.
