OEM Varsity Jackets Built Around Your Specifications
Jaktuno develops varsity and letterman jackets for apparel brands, private-label buyers, wholesalers, importers, and school or teamwear suppliers. Projects can begin with a tech pack, measurement chart, artwork, reference garment or agreed product brief.
Our custom scope covers body and sleeve materials, fit, colors, rib details, embroidery, patches, closures, labels and packaging. Before sampling, we identify which specifications are fixed and which need development. This gives the quotation, sample and bulk order a consistent working reference.
Define the Jacket Before Sample Cutting
A reference image helps establish the appearance, but it may leave the fabric composition, lining, measurements and internal construction unclear. We review these details before developing the sample.
The specification should identify body length, shoulder position, sleeve shape, pocket construction, closure and intended fit. Oversized styles require defined garment measurements rather than a larger size label alone. Through design and tech pack development, open details can be recorded for confirmation before cutting.
Select Materials, Colors and Construction
Material selection affects appearance, weight, decoration compatibility and sourcing requirements. Available directions include wool blends, cotton, polyester, fleece, satin, denim, PU leather and genuine leather, with body and sleeve combinations reviewed separately.
We also confirm lining, rib construction and color coordination. PU and genuine leather are different quotation options, while satin requires an actual fiber composition to be specified. Our fabric and material options help buyers define a workable combination before sampling. Special colors or less readily available materials can affect MOQ and development time.
Develop Embroidery, Patches and Branding
Direct embroidery, chenille patches, embroidered patches and suitable printing can be developed from buyer artwork. We review logo dimensions, placement, colors and attachment before approving the decoration.
Large designs, dense stitching or artwork close to pockets, seams and closures may require adjustments. Decoration is planned around the jacket construction so the approved appearance can be reproduced during production. The logo embroidery and patch customization page explains the details needed for artwork review.
School and team projects can include lettering and numbers. Requirements for different artwork across individual garments should be identified at quotation stage because they change preparation and checking work.
Confirm Private Labels and Packing
Private-label orders can include woven labels, size and care labels, hangtags, snap buttons, zippers and branded packing bags. Label content, dimensions and installation positions need approval alongside the garment.
Packing can include individual polybags, barcodes, size assortments, export cartons and buyer-specific carton marks. We confirm these requirements before packing preparation so garment labels, packed quantities and shipping instructions agree. Special presentation boxes should be reviewed separately for sourcing, packing fit and cost rather than assumed to be standard.
Approve Samples Before Bulk Production
Custom samples normally take around 7–15 days, depending on material availability, construction, decoration and trim development. Additional revisions and courier transit can extend the overall approval schedule.
During sample development, buyers review fit, measurements, materials, colors, branding and workmanship. The approved sample, size chart and artwork become production references. Materials, trims, labels and packing are confirmed before bulk cutting. Later changes require a review of their effect on cost and delivery.
Plan MOQ, Production and Inspection
Standard styles generally start around 100–300 pieces per style. More customized OEM and private-label orders are usually around 300–1,000 pieces per style/color. Material sourcing, decoration and construction determine the final requirement.
Bulk production normally takes around 25–45 days after sample approval and order confirmation. Larger volumes, special materials and seasonal loading can require more time. Checks cover materials, sewing, measurements, decoration, closures, labels and packing. Third-party inspection or specified testing can be coordinated when required.
Send Your Project for Quotation
Send your design reference, quantity by style/color, size breakdown, material preferences, artwork and packing requirements. Include the destination, preferred trade term and target shipment or arrival date.
If a specification is undecided, mark it for review. We can then assess options, sampling requirements, MOQ and production timing before finalizing the quotation.
